While COVID-19 may be one of the few things that doesn’t kill or eat Quail, it certainly has not stopped the loss of Quail habitat or diminished the importance of our efforts to protect and rebuild that habitat.
While prioritizing the health and well-being of our donors, friends, and members, the Quail Forever North Texas Chapter made the difficult decision to forgo this year’s Quail Forever Banquet. We hope you understand we did not make this decision lightly, and we will miss seeing you; our friends and supporters.
I’m sure you are aware that our banquet is our primary fundraiser and membership drive, allowing our chapter to fund local habitat work, support the Texas State Quail Forever efforts, fund national research, and provide actives to engage our youth hunting.
While we know some of our supporters have been impacted finically in resent months, if you are lucky that have been spared, we implore upon you to make the same level of generous donation that you would have made at our banquets. If you find yourself less fortunate, we hope that you can still reaffirm your annual membership to Quail Forever membership.
Thank you for embracing our shared mission of stewardship of these birds for future generations.
